  • Obligations of Customers and Users

    The Client and the User undertake to comply with and respect these General Conditions of Contract and Use, namely:



    • To refrain from introducing, storing or disseminating through the site defamatory, obscene, injurious, xenophobic and/or any other content that violates the general principles of law and public order;
    • To keep, and not disclose, your password to enter the site in order to prevent third parties from accessing your Langiarte.com account;
    • Not to use false identities;
    • To provide the correct personal information and addresses so that Langiarte can properly process the orders.



    Its users are expressly forbidden to transmit messages or injurious information, deceitful, defamatory, obscene or that violates, in any way, the right to privacy or intellectual or industrial property of others, as well as the availability of any information that can be harmful to third parties or to the owner of the site.


    Langiarte reserves the right to delete the account of the user that materializes any of these situations.


    The client is responsible for the veracity of the data reported to Langiarte and agrees to immediately insert in his account on the site www.langiarte.com, any changes to the same.


    Langiarte declines any responsibility for any eventual delay or impossibility to process the order, namely in the act of delivery, due to error or insufficiency of the data communicated by the client.




  • Personal Data Processing

    The computerized treatment of the data collected is done in compliance with the legislation on data protection and the same are intended for sending orders, administrative support, statistics and future presentation of new proposals by Langiarte. The data collected may be communicated to third parties of recognized competence for direct marketing purposes. If you oppose to this, you only need to contact us with your name, surname, address and customer number. The Client is guaranteed, under the terms of the law, the right to access and rectify any data concerning him/her contained in the database, by writing to:

    Although Langiarte collects and processes data in a secure way to prevent its loss or manipulation, using the most advanced techniques for this purpose, we inform you that the collection in open networks allows the circulation of personal data without security conditions, running the risk of being seen and used by unauthorized third parties. The user authorizes Langiarte to treat the personal data provided in an automated way, in particular by the use of cookies.

  • Langiarte Newsletter

    The Langiarte Newsletter is the name given to e-mailings, promotional offers, and institutional newsletters, information about the company or the Customer, sent directly to the Customer's e-mail box. The Customer has the possibility of subscribing to the Newsletter, being automatically registered from the moment he places his first order or registers for the first time. You can access and modify your details at any time in "My Account" and manage your subscription to the newsletter by checking the notifications mentioned.


    The Langiarte Newsletter is an exclusive feature of the Langiarte website.




  • Intellectual property

    All elements of the Langiarte Site, whether visual or audio, including the underlying technology, are protected by copyright, trademark or patent rights. They are exclusive property of Langiarte. The Client that has a personal Site on the Internet and wish to put, for personal use, in his Site, a simple direct link to the home page of Langiarte's Site, must request Langiarte's authorization. This is not an implicit agreement of affiliation or partnership. On the other hand, any hypertext link to Langiarte's Site using the framing technique or in-line linking is formally prohibited.


    In all cases, any link, even tacitly authorized, must be removed with a simple request from Langiarte.




  • Total Agreement

    These general conditions of sale constitute the entire agreement between the parties concerned.

    Should any of the clauses in these conditions become null and void as a result of a legislative or regulatory change or by judgment, this shall in no case affect their validity and compliance.




  • Duration

    These conditions apply for the duration of the services offered by Langiarte. All items from the Autumn/Winter collections online are valid until 30/04 of the following year, subject to the limit of available stocks.

    All items from the Spring/Summer collections online are valid until 30 October of the same year, within the limits of available stocks. All items exclusive to the site are valid until stocks last.




  • Test

    Computerised records, stored in Langiarte's computer systems under secure conditions, are considered as proof of the communications, orders and payments produced between the parties.


  • Conservation and Archive of Transactions

    Orders and invoices will be filed on a reliable and durable medium in order to correspond to a true and durable copy.




  • Applicable law and competence

    Portuguese Law shall apply to the conditions of sale presented.

    Failing resolution by agreement between the parties, any dispute arising from these General Conditions of Sale shall be submitted to the competent Portuguese court.




  • Data Protection

    Mário Brites Faria, Lda (Langiarte) is committed to protecting the personal data of customers/users in all situations where data processing occurs.

    What is personal data?



    It's any information, of any nature and independently of the respective support, related to a natural person, directly or indirectly, identified or identifiable (data owner).




    Purpose and collection of your personal data



    The personal information you transmit to us when placing an order is used to personalize your browsing experience on our site, as well as to ensure the correct handling of your order, combat fraud, deliver the items, perform payment transactions and communicate with you about your orders. All data will be entered in a secure server, hosted in Portugal with the 128-bit SSL system that encrypts them. The servers are outsourced but Langiarte requires that they guarantee a high level of security, confidentiality and adequate protection of privacy and fundamental rights required by the European Union. However, we do not control all the risks related to the use of the Internet, alerting you to the existence of possible risks associated with its use and operation, and consequently the sharing of personal data by this means.




    Commercial Offers and Communications



    Langiarte may make you commercial offers by e-mail, namely, sending discount vouchers, birthday offers, viewed products and for the evaluation of products purchased from Langiarte. In the case of sending an email, the sender Langiarte will be clearly identified and the nature of the communication will be indicated in the subject of the message. At the end of each message, you will have the possibility to cancel our emails.




    Period of conservation of personal data



    Langiarte retains personal data during the retention periods identified above and only for the period of time necessary, or for the fulfillment of obligations to which it is legally subject. In any case, once the relationship with the owners of personal data is terminated, these data will no longer be processed for commercial purposes.




    Rights of the personal data subject



    In accordance with current legislation, the holder of personal data has the right to access and rectify their data, as well as the right to request their deletion, object to their processing and obtain their limitation or portability to the extent that this is applicable.     Sharing of personal data



    Your personal data may be processed by companies subcontracted by Langiarte, namely for web page hosting, e-mail, carriers (CTT Expresso) and payment systems companies (Ifthen, HiPay); your bank details are not transmitted to Langiarte. Only the personal details necessary to provide the service in question are provided to these companies.
